Zaire was founded in 1981 by three high school friends (Mike DiCenso, Jim Leahey and Matt Pisani). We started as a 3-piece acoustic trio, playing classic rock with an emphasis on strong 3-part harmonies. We played local bars, restaurants and festivals all around the central New Jersey area until everyone went their separate ways. After getting back together again in 2007 we’ve enjoyed playing at new venues in New Jersey as well as the Lehigh Valley, PA area to receptive audiences that appreciate the music and harmonies we still capture. So sit back and listen to classic rock favorites from The Eagles, Tom Petty, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Radiohead, Stevie Ray Vaughn and more. Whether it's a 3-piece acoustic gig or a full band gig with Jeb Hoban on the skins.
